How to use your car cover or vehicle cover
As a rule of thumb, always start with the front bumper first, working your way to the back bumper last. With older vehicles it is sometimes easier to start with the roof and windows and then to the front bumper and lastly the rear bumper.
Retractable Antenna 1.
Remove car cover from bag. 2.
Secure the cover at front bumpers.
(A "FRONT" tag is sewn on the inside of the car cover so you can tell which end the front is.) 3.
Pull cover over the top of car, and secure under rear bumper.
Non- Retractable Antenna
An antenna patch is included with most covers for antennas that don't retract.
1. Simply cover your vehicle and mark where the antenna hits the cover.
2. Apply the adhesive-backed patch to that spot, and punch a hole in the center of the patch, after the patch is applied.
Grommets
Your car cover is equipped with grommet holes on both sides of the cover. You can use these holes to tie or lock down your car cover. We suggest a car cover cable lock to help secure your car or vehicle cover.
To remove your car cover or vehicle cover: Fold each side of the cover up onto the roof. Fold the cover in half again so that the cover resembles a 2 ft strip. Then starting at the front of the vehicle, fold the cover towards the rear of the vehicle, in approximately 3 ft folds. This method will prevent the car cover or vehicle cover from been dragged across the vehicle surface. Place in storage bag.
If you utilize this method of storage it will make your next installation quick and simple.
It's always best to store your car cover or vehicle cover when completely dry, especially if you won't be using the cover for a while. Though our covers are mold and mildew resistant, storing the cover wet can cause unwanted damage.
